As the name stipulates, the Narayaneeya Paraayana Sat Sangam (NPSS in short) is a Registered Trust specially formed to propagate, NARAYANEEYAM a condensed form of Shrimad Bhagavatham which archives the many avatars /incarnations of Lord Maha Vishnu, authored by an ailing devotee and celebrated Sanskrit poet, Melpathur Narayana Bhattathiripad compiled the Holy book as his prayer to the Lord Guruvayurappan for getting cured from his alarmed ailment. As soon as he finished the Holy text he was completely cured as a result of his sheer devotion to Lord Guruvayurappan is a well-known historical occurrence. Chanting of the NARAYANEEYAM regularly is one of the main offerings to Lord at the Shree Krishna Temple run by NPSS.
